(Intune Systems, Inc. has openings in Carrollton, TX) Senior Network and Security Engineer: Oversee and provide guidance through the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Fortinet firewall systems to ensure optimal performance and security of the network. Oversee and coordinate the analysis and troubleshooting of network issues related to the firewall. Oversee and coordinate firewall upgrades and migrations. Oversee the development and maintenance of technical documentation for firewall systems, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures. Oversee regular network security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions. Provide guidance in root cause analysis and obtain customer signoff. Plan and execute network and security activities, influencing the direction of plans/activities and providing technical insight and guidance to the team. Utilize BGP, OSPF, SolarWinds, load balancing, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN, SSL, IPsec, and SSL VPN.
